COVID-19: Keeping Our Employees and Customers Safe

During these unprecedented times, we’re all in the same boat – charting through new waters amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and adjusting to a new norm.

As a supply chain solutions provider, MHS Lift remains focused on our business and serving our customers, many of whom rely on us to provide life-sustaining products and services that keep our communities safe and thriving.

This could not be possible without our dedicated employees who are going the extra mile and adapting and changing their roles – basically doing whatever it takes to provide our customers with exceptional service. We also commend our service teams, parts personnel and delivery drivers who are on the frontlines.

As always, MHS Lift remains dedicated to providing customers with the highest level of service. We have successfully worked through challenging times throughout the last 50 years; and by working together, we are certain that we will get through these challenging times once again.

We will continue to monitor the guidelines provided by the CDC, World Health Organization and federal, state and local governments to help ensure employee and customer safety. We’ve implemented the following steps, and other safety procedures may be added as health guidelines develop.

  1. Cleaning service disinfects our office EVERY DAY from 10 am-4 pm.
  2. Warehouse access is only permitted to MHS Lift Employees. Customers, vendors and truck drivers need to remain outside the building and inside their vehicles. Restocking of supplies such as first aid kits and vending machines are the only exceptions.
  3. Technicians and delivery drivers will NOT have customers sign their mobile devices or paperwork orders. We have new guidelines in place
  4. Technicians disinfect all units prior to working on them, and again after completion.
  5. If possible, all units are to be brought to our technicians outside a customer’s place of business.
  6. Technicians place cones six feet around their workspace to provide safe social distancing outlines for themselves and others.
  7. All employees adhere to social distancing practices. We are limiting paperwork exchanges from person to person, and when possible, sending paperwork electronically.
  8. All Sales Representatives and Customer Service Representatives, and certain associates are working remotely and only visiting customers when necessary.
  9. PPE gloves and masks are available for all MHS Lift employees.
  10. On-site training sessions and all out-of-the area travel is cancelled until further notice.
  11. Team members who are sick or are caring for a sick family member must stay at home.

There is no doubt that our strong fundamentals will carry us across the finish line stronger and ready to conquer anything that comes our way!
